Welcome to the website of Stratnarra, a three-year research project funded by the European Commission under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship programme.
The Stratnarra project ran from September 2015 to August 2018. It collected data on news consumption and the reception of conflicting political narratives among Ukrainian citizens, in order to shed light on how governments manage (or fail) to exert influence via mass communication in contemporary international relations.
Funding for Stratnarra has now ceased and this website will not be updated further. However, work to publish results from the project is continuing. For news and updates about publications arising from Stratnarra, follow Dr Joanna Szostek on ResearchGate, Twitter or visit her page on the University of Glasgow website.
Stratnarra was based at the Department of Politics and International Relations, Royal Holloway, University of London.
Project partners included the National University of Kyiv Mohyla Academy and the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Stratnarra was funded by a grant from the European Commission under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship programme.
